The Ring Wired Doorbell Pro 3RE Edition has been excellent. Video quality is clear day and night, motion alerts are fast and accurate, and the wired connection makes it very reliable. Installation was easy, and the app is user-friendly with great customization options. Sleek design and strong performance—highly recommend for home security.

Upgraded form 7 year old Video Door Bell Pro, the upgraded field of view and resolution are fantastic. My doorbell is mounted along a wall that is perpendicular to my front door so the included wedge kit is nice. Pros - Head to Toe View is great for seeing packages on your porch and a better view in general - Increased video resolution is noticeable and useful - Night and low light performance is great - Wedge kit (2 wedges) included - Install of actual Doorbell is easy, typical Ring Install. If you have installed a Ring Doorbell before you will have no problems. - Motion detection work well Cons: - Unlike older models there is no longer an option to use existing mechanical doorbell chime in your house. The chime is now bypassed. Options include using the included "mini chime" or using a separately purchased "Ring Chime" - Included chime mini kit does not sound great, it also stopped working after a week. I ended up buying a Ring Chime. - Mounting holes are not the same as old Ring Doorbells, would of been nice if they included some type of adapter to use existing holes from prior Ring Doorbells. Overall this is a great product from Ring. I am glad they are starting to offer 4k cameras now. The cons are not dealbreakers, but be prepared to purchase a "Ring Chime" as I was not happy with the included "mini chime"

I purchased 2x (front + side doors) to replaced battery powered gen 1 ring video door bells. I would give the overall 2-3 stars for everything experienced up until install (Ring was not ready with answers for this new product, which came out 6 months ago). However, now that it's installed, it's great. Cons: 1) does not work with an existing physical interior chime. cannot ever be attached to a physical chime. Takes the warmth out a home if you ask me. 2) you have to attach 1 "mini chime kit" per new door bell, so you a doorbell on your wall service no purpose and then 1 white block mini chime kit per 3rd gen wired doorbell. It's just ugly because it probably won't fit under your existing cover. I removed my interior chime and making something to act as a doorbell cover for these 2x white mini chime kits 3) It needs more power than their AI bots and BestBuy answers recommended. After a lot of wasted time / returns / chat frustration, I was told 2x 3rd Gen wired doorbell pros would need a "24V 40VA" transformer. Because this doorbell is 4k, it needs power, so if you are only doing 1x 3rd gen doorbell, it needs to be a minimum transformer of "16-24V AC, 30VA." Pros: everything I wanted, like better picture during the day and night. Also I switched from battery power to wired, so I am beyond happy to no longer recharge. The doorbell is slender so ensure you have the trim paint ready to touch up where this doorbell no longer covers. Included a pivot plastic piece which is great for my side door to angle the vision.

To be honest, I do not have any complaints from this product. I switched to ring after having the Google Nest Doorbell. The Ring Pro 4k Doorbell was easy to install. The visuals are excellent. I would definitely recommend this device to other customers.

I purchased and installed the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (3rd Gen) about a month ago. I am impressed! The day and night image quality over the 2nd Gen has greatly improved! Colors and details are amazing! The other added feature I like is Familiar Faces. When someone rings the doorbell, it takes a snapshot of the person. You can then go into settings and name the person, this way, when they ring the next time, the alerts will also include their name. This, of course, can be turned on/off in Settings. The only “ding” to speak of so far is if you need to rely on the improved zoom feature, it is surely improved, but not as much as I had expected. But as far as video quality from your front door to about 20 feet out, it is excellent!

This new Ring 4K plugin catches everything from the little birds to the skunks creeping around. The picture quality is superior to any ring camera before it and it displays a wider field of view. These are the Droids i been waiting for

I’ve been using the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (3rd Generation) and overall, I’m very satisfied so far. The video quality is excellent, the two-way audio works clearly, and the motion detection has been reliable. Installation was also straightforward. The only downside I’ve noticed is a slight delay in receiving notifications when someone is at the door. This may be related to my internet connection, which I am currently working to improve. Once I optimize my network, I will update my review to reflect any changes in performance. So far, it’s a great device and a solid addition to my home security setup.

I’ve been slowly switching my home security cameras over to Ring, and overall I’m very impressed with the Battery Doorbell Pro. The 4K video quality is excellent, the wide-angle view gives great coverage of the front door, and the zoom and night vision are a noticeable upgrade. There are a couple of things I miss from my previous doorbell, though. My previous system offered facial recognition and could identify familiar people. Unless I’m overlooking a setting, I haven’t found comparable facial recognition on the Ring doorbell. It was a surprisingly useful feature, and I’d love to see Ring add something similar. I’m also disappointed by the lack of true backup recording during a power or internet outage. One of the things I appreciated about my previous system was that it could continue recording motion events for several days using its battery backup. For a security device, being able to continue capturing footage when power or connectivity is interrupted provides some extra peace of mind. Overall, the hardware and image quality are excellent, and I’m happy with the switch to Ring. Adding facial recognition and better offline/backup recording would make an already impressive doorbell much more complete.

If you don't mind the reduced privacy, the Ring system of cameras are getting better. This doorbell camera is so much better than previous generations. It captures the entire floor to cieling in front of the door. No need for additional angles. It has a smarter AI to avoid excessive alerts and even tells you a description of who is at the door...a child, a man, or woman and sometimes it gets that its a delivery. Definitely a good purchase is you want a reliable camera.

Finally upgraded feom the gen 1 Ring Doorbell and this is a major improvement. Installation was easy, comes with everything you need, and the housing doesnt require that special security allen key thats easy to misplace. Image is clear and the low light looks very nice. Wider field of view and setting it up according to your preferences is easy through the app. Highly recommend.

The video and options for security are easy to see and more advanced than my previous Ring doorbell. I’ve had several vendors try to replace it and I added another brand of camera but intimating more superior in support, event capture and simpler to navigate.

This doorbell is awesome!! So fast and the picture is super clear. The fact there is no battery involved and its just hardwired is a plus. The doorbell looks sleak and the installation only took me around 15 mins. The mini chime was easy to install as well. Don’t hesitate to upgrade to this beautiful doorbell!!!

We recently upgraded our Ring doorbell to this one, and we’re thoroughly impressed with our purchase. The setup process was incredibly straightforward and quick, and the doorbell itself functions exceptionally well. One of the standout features is its motion detection capabilities. Unlike our previous doorbell, which would trigger alerts for every slight movement, this Pro model is more discerning and doesn’t alert you for even the slightest breeze. What I particularly appreciate about the Pro version is that it not only detects motion and alerts you but also continues to record the rest of the time without making it an alert. In terms of security and price, the Pro model is undoubtedly a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend this model over any other options available.

I upgraded from an older Ring Camera and this new one is so much better. I think it is funny when it recognizes people like the UPS driver and says the UPS driver is walking up your walkway with a package. The quality of the video is also great with the ability to zoom in.

I’ve been really impressed with this doorbell. The video quality is extremely sharp, and the 4K resolution makes a noticeable difference compared to older models. The zoom feature is actually usable, and the low-light color night vision works better than I expected. Notifications are fast and consistent, and the motion detection has been accurate without too many false alerts. The build quality feels premium, and the installation was straightforward since it’s wired. Overall, this feels like a meaningful upgrade in both video clarity and performance. If you want high-quality footage and dependable alerts, this is a great doorbell.

In my opinion and my experience, this is by far the best ring doorbell you can buy. It’s a little pricey at $250 but it is leaps and bounds better than all the other cameras I’ve had. You can literally see in total darkness with this camera and what they call near dark color vision is spot on in very low light. Again by far the best doorbell camera I’ve ever had.
