Do u have to have internet to have a door camera?
Hi, Grip - Yes, the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (3rd Gen) requires an internet connection to function properly. While it doesn't rely on Wi-Fi for power, it does need a stable internet connection to stream live video, send alerts, and allow two-way communication through the Ring app. Without an internet connection, the doorbell would function like a traditional wired doorbell — it would ring when pressed, but you wouldn't be able to access video feeds or receive notifications. For optimal performance, Ring recommends a minimum upload speed of 15 Mbps, especially for 4K devices. This ensures smooth video streaming and reliable alerts
