Camera is improved, and the doorbell looks much nicer Cons - The transmission and notifications seem to be slower. The doorbell "chime" that is included sounds bad.

The only downside I see is the lack of a light or backlight feature, which would be helpful in low-light conditions. It constantly alerts me when someone approaches with packages or a dog, and it can distinguish frequent visitors. The camera captures sharp, clear, and crisp images, exceeding my expectations. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better doorbell camera.

The AI features were an unexpected win. It recognizes and announces people at the for on Alexa. It marks video and pushes notifications of an animal, package, delivery or specific person at the door. We have had it about a month now, replaced the 2nd gen ring doorbell.. it’s much better with with added features.. it even uses AI recognition to tell you who or what is at your doorstep, walking in front etc.. didn’t give 5 star rating only because.. we don’t know long term reliability etc..
