I have had this for a month now and my Ring camera has not lost any power. I feel pretty confident as being away from a vacation property that this battery will not deplete. It was really easy to install. Simply choose the location where you will receive the most sunlight and screw in the bracket, place solar panel and your done. Pretty happy with it. Only problem I had was it was a little pricey. However, for me it was a small price to pay for not to worry about batteries dying as I am gone from these seasonal vacation homes for 6 months.

I do make sure they get good sunlight - if you live in an area with lower sun, you may still need to charge batteries, but if the panel gets good sun most days, you shouldn't need to charge the batteries.

Nice cord length and has survived multiple winds and rains. Bought a second. Keeps ring between 80-100 on cloudy and 100 by sundown.

I live in Western Washington State, we have very cloudy weather and lots of tall trees. But this product keeps two of my outdoor security cameras fully charged year-round. The mount for it is pretty flimsy plastic though.

That previously used a different product in an off brand name and it stopped working after day one the ring camera has been lasting us for years.

The installation is quick and easy, plus the available extended wiring helps if your panel needs to be a bit further from your camera. We've had extremely strong winds over the past month and the panel survived it - I was surprised given how exposed it is to the elements

We have 5 of these solar panels around our property attached to Ring Stick-Up Cams and they keep the batteries constantly at 80% + charge even with the many settings we use that are higher power consumption. The batteries have a long lifespan of many years and the setup of solar panels and cameras are maintenance free for many years after installation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This solar panel has been very helpful in recharging the camera, the Sun has moved out of range for recharge during this time of year, but still provides a little more time between battery exchanges. I do wish that the cord was longer for better placement.

Having a solid connection ensures you do not miss any activity around your home. We are here to provide you with some information to resolve the issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. There are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your Ring Solar Panel set up for optimal performance. The device's battery level may vary based on the amount of direct sunlight the solar panel receives. It is important to ensure that your Ring Solar Panel is installed correctly and that it is receiving enough direct sunlight to operate as intended. For best performance, Ring recommends at least two to three hours of direct sunlight for the Ring Solar Panel. With the recommended amount of direct sunlight, the device will remain continuously charged under most conditions.
Make sure there are no obstructions or objects that could cast a shadow on your solar panel, such as an extended roof, tree, or bush. Seasonality and how far north (or south) you live can affect the strength of the sun. If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, install your solar panel facing south. If you live in the southern hemisphere, install it facing north. Ring recommends using the adjustable arm to angle the panel at about 45 degrees toward the sky to get the most sunlight possible.
