This is easy go install and only needs approx 2 or 3 hours of bright light to keep my RIng Spotlight Cam fully charged. So far I haven't ask the camera to do a faster motion recheck or more frequent timed photo but I plan on playing with the Spotlight Cams just to see what they will do.

Great addition to security camera to make sure the battery is always charged.

Got this for an outdoor stick cam, easy install, super straight forward, the best solution to those not wanting to use the battery only or not wanting to run a wire to it!

This solar panel is the perfect accompaniment to my Ring Spotlight Cam Plus that’s set up in my carport. I no longer have to worry about getting my ladder out to put newly charged batteries in the Spotlight Camera as it is now connected to this Solar Panel. Ring solar panels always work the best in Ring products. I've tried many cheap off brand panels and was disappointed by them. I've had zero failures in the 9 panels I own and some are 8 years old. All of the 3 off brand panels I purchased failed in one way or another.

This solar panel is great you don't have to charge the camera all the time. It lasts about a month.

I installed the panel on the roof above the doorbell and have some slack still with the included cable. The battery went from 34% to 99% on day one with good sunshine near Spokane Washington. Since then it hovers between 100% and 80% depending on use. Granted we're approaching winter and I expect somewhat degraded performance based on available sunlight. Now it's late October early in the day (battery hasn't recovered from the night) and the battery is 88%. I haven't needed to charge the battery since installing the solar panel about a month ago. Works great so far! Its worth noting: out older ring doorbell has raw terminals on the back so I just split the cables on the included usbc adapter and connected them directly to the doorbell which works fine once the cables are connected on the right terminals (50% chance first guess). This can be avoided by buying the correct panel for your product..

The solar panel only gets direct sun 3-5 hours a day but keeps battery charged 90-100%
