Does the job!

With two batteries in the spotlight camera, it works as expected by letting one battery deplete a bit before switching to the other battery and charging the depleted battery. This is by design and works well, but don’t expect it to keep batteries at 100% at all times. It’s not necessarily designed to do that.

The fact that this plugs right in, and charges from the sun and I don't have to worry about it....AMAZING!! and for the price of the item...worth not having to worry about removing and charging a battery or worse, missing something important on my security camera due to a dead battery
