Not sure what I did but it doesn’t do it anymore, works great now. Had me worried that I got a lemon

The cable is a little stiff and wants to hold it's packaged shape but most affordable premium cables are the same.

Get one that is longer than 4 feet.

Works the same and the cable that is a step down, but at least I'm covered for when I get an 8k TV.
