It works great hooked up from my PS4 to my Sony 4K TV but I didn't really notice any difference in picture quality because a PS4 doesn't really benefit from an 8K HDMI 2.1 cable. I guess I need a PS5 or some other next gen console for this cable to make a difference, so we'll see if there's an improvement when I get my PS5. I would still recommend it because the price is reasonable, and it should work just fine if you get a new console and have a TV or monitor that supports this standard.
