Rocketfish offers Premium Digital Audio Cables that deliver the clearest audio & are built to last a lifetime! I use premium cables to bring out DTS & Dolby Atmos while viewing the latest LG OLED 4K UHD TV. I chose a Rocketfish cable from Best Buy instead of the much more expensive and highly advertised premium cable brand. The 2 photos show this Rocketfish Digital Optical Cable. The sound quality through the Rocketfish HDMI is stunning using DTS & Dolby Atmos source material. I could not hear any difference between the Rocketfish and the most highly advertised brands that cost several times more. Examinations of the cable's physical attributes show very expensive materials, with no shortcuts. The cable is very thick (approximately 3/8" diameter) showing extra durability in the cable. The plugs are super heavy duty, an incredibly strong, lightweight material with the highest physical strength - the thickness & the plugs are exactly the same as the most expensive "premium brand" cables. Beware of THIN optical cables. They do not flex many times without breaking the optical cable inside. Thin cables cost less, and are less expensive to manufacture. On the "high end" extreme, well engineered plugs add physical strength (they won't break if hit). This cable made a believer out of me. Rocketfish offers the absolute BEST in quality digital optical audio signal transmission with the highest quality construction at the best value. Rocketfish earns my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

The Rocketfish gigital audio cable is a no brainer. Its easier to connect than rca and better quality.

I purchased this item because of the exceptional value. At 12 feet, this cable meet my needs for connecting my DVR to my Sony Amp. Making this conversion was fast and simple. Once I had the cable connected, I only had to make a small adjustment on my amp to enable this cable and deliver the sound. I found the improvement to be fantastic. The sound is richer and fuller than previously and the range of sound delivered digitally does not compare to what I had been using. This cable was well worth the small investment and I would recommend it to anyone with a system which can use a digital sound signal..

Got it because I need it. The length is what I need and so far the sound bar is working wonderfully. Have no complaints with this and the price was very reasonable. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. I'd totally recommend it.

Came in convenient lengths and was easy to install; even though I could not clearly see the plug, the shape make it easy to seat it properly. I have Bose Surround Theater and I have noticed a difference since I replaced the old plug cables with this one.

Optical cables can get pretty expensive. This was a great price and provided exactly what I needed. It was constructed with good quality. I also proved really good sound and was plenty long enough.

How can I stretch "It's a cable" to fifty characters? Let me count the ways. 1) It has RCA plugs on not just one, but BOTH ends- for my connecting pleasure. 2) It has 3 conductors, each complete with it's own grounding or shielding, I've not opened the box yet to look. 3) The individual cables are color coded, so I know which one goes where, provided I follow the convenient color coordination that has been provided for me. 4) This cable is sure to bring us hours of viewing pleasure once it connects the old DVD player to the new TV. We opted for the12 foot length so as to be able to hide the cable in the wall, no messy wires hanging out. It provides for a nice, clean install that way. 5) On the 6th Saturday of the month, this cable WILL enable us to simply walk into Mordor. I believe I've extolled more than 50 characters of the virtues of a cable I've yet to open. In summary, it is a cable, it will carry audio and video signal from the DVD player to the TV. IfI had a friend in a similar situation, I would absolutely recommend that they use a cable, perhaps even this one. It certainly seems like a nice cable so far.

I got it for $5 as a deal of the day special so for the price no one could have said no. I use it for my sound bar to my TV and it works fine enough for me. No complaints and I would recommend this to anyone. Especially if you catch it as a deal of the day again.

I purchased this optical audio cable for a new sounder I had purchased. I needed a longer code because I had the wires running through the wall so they wouldn't be seen below my TV. It was easy to install and there were no problems with it since connecting it.

This is a high quality optical cable that produces all 5 channels plus subwoofer LFE. Highly constructed and has good length. For this price I am sorry I did not get a second.

This is way better than using audio cables. The sound is more clearer and louder. Great price for the brand name. Got it for $9.99 and yes I'm not kidding!
