I needed this cable to send the audio from my computer to the surround bar connected to my TV. This, combined with HDMI to connect my video card to my TV allows my kids and I to plug our guitars into the computer to play Rocksmith, and see it on the TV and hear it through the surround system. The sound quality is exactly what I expected, and the price for the cable was very competitive, especially considering the contstruction quality.

I love that we can plug this into the back of a quality TV and into the optical input on a quality stereo and now we have surround sound for anything we are watching on TV, regardless of the source. If you don't do it this way, you don't get the great sound when watching content from built-in apps on a smart TV. Plus this way you don't have to switch sources on the receiver when you switch from Cable box to Blu-Ray to Netflix, etc.

I bought this to connect my new LG 4k TV to my amplifier that lacks HDMI. The cable functions as expected, is fairly flexible, and fits the optical receptacles very securely.

Bought this HDMI cable to augment the fantastic picture fro my new 60" Samsung LED. The picture is stunning, in part thanks to the Rocketfish cable. Great picture quality at a great price

After picking up a blu-ray player I found I needed to add an optical cable to get everything to work. Plugged both ends in, turned everything on, and everything works.

This cable does what it's supposed to, but if you are looking for something that will last forever this is the cable you are looking for. Very well constructed.

Ran this wire through my wall and had no problems with setup. The cord is sturdy and strong. Not much give at the connection though in case you need it to bend some.

Cable fits snug and I have not had any problems with it at all. I should have opted for the shorter cable but this longer one does the trick also.
