Anyway - 5 STARS. Works well. Bad advice from salespersons that it was needed to fix a problem I was having using my AppleTV device. This product has consistently proven to be a quality product over the many years that I have been purchasing this brand of HDMI cable.

I'm so impressed with it that I may purchase a second one at a future time

Gold plating does help with transmission over longer distances, but I don't think you'll see a difference at or under 25 ft as the insulation around the wiring is the important part. Since that's the case, buy a decent (but not super expensive) cable, and save some money.

It is not like the one that the serviceman installed when I had my pay tv installed. A little pricey but it worked. My television kept cutting out on the audio and visual. Once I replaced the cable with the new one from Best Buy from my tv to my verizon set top box I solved the problem.

Its better than the ones they sell by the computers, this one seems to work better and it was not even that much. One issue I have noticed with this cable is that it seems to pull out really easy, I have had it disconnect on me by just moving the arm of my monitor
