Super bright, the blacks are totally and completely black and the picture is sharp and clean. After a month now I'm still impressed by the video quality each time I turn it on. Occasionally though when I turn it on I get no volume. But turning it off and on usually gets it back. Maybe it's a problem with my cable box.
