Wanting something of higher quality I choose the Rocketfish because it looked beefier and for the plated connectors. Price was reasonable.

I've heard a lot of rumors about hdmi being hdmi but I just didn't feel comfortable putting a $2 hdmi cord up to my 70" TV. The quality here feels safe and it doesn't break the wallet
