Now I can safely say, they work fine and I've had no issues. I'm using mine for connections between an OLED TV, Cable TV DVR, and an Apple TV.

No need to buy other more expensive cables, although for long cables like this it might be a good idea to get Monster cable for the lifetime warranty.
