They're a little tricky to figure out, but once you've got the hang of it these are the easiest plugs to deal with that I've used in a while.

Didn't work for me this time. The Pioneer Elite Dolby Atmos Bookshelf Speakers could not get a sturdy, solid connection with the Rocketfish Banana Plugs. The solution: Sewell Banana Plugs. The difference is a collar at the base of the stem. Without the collar, the connection was loose and would fall out too easily. Returned this item.

If you're using a RV receiver the banana clips is the way to go

These are great! Easy to use. Makes install clean. Ian going to redo all my connections now. I wish they weren’t so dang expensive though

Works well and easy to install. The center pin used to connect the plug into the wire is a good idea. I am using two different types of 14ga. speaker wire. I wouldn't recommend this style for 16ga. wire. If the shielding on your speaker wire is thin, these clips can easily slip off. It comes with two different fittings to keep this from happening, but it can still slip off when unplugging or moving the wires. I fixed this by using the larger and smaller wire grips (white and black) together on each wire. This allowed the connection to grip the wire better and kept this from happening. This was only necessary for the speaker wire that had the thinner shielding.

Excellent fit and easy to use. For old school Technic speakers.

Very easy to set up on the audio cable. Connection to my components are solid.

The Good: These banana plugs are well-made, decently-designed, and will go a long way toward tidying-up your speaker-to-amp/receiver connections, offering a more-positive hookup for potentially-better sound… The Not-So-Good: …provided you can figure out how to use them: there are NO instructions included for how to connect these to speaker-wire ends, other than the vague mentioning that stripping the wire-ends isn't absolutely necessary. If, like me, this is hardly your first rodeo terminating speaker wire, you'll probably suss out how to do this on your own, but if you're doing this for the first time, you'll likely be quite confused. Had it occurred to me that a quick step-by-step picture-guide might help others, I'd have done it on-the-spot. Recommended, in spite of that glaring omission.

I was surprised at the affordable price of these banana plugs as they are solidly built and easy to install on speaker cables. The only drawback was having to loosen the plastic ferule which keeps the cable firmly secured inside the plug casing. I had to ply the plastic grippers of the ferule apart with pliers in order to fit the cable through it. I was always afraid that i would pull it too far back breaking it. But once you're over this step it's easy to assemble in just a few minutes.

Fantastic product! Atypical connection method, but once you figure out that you don't need to cut and strip your wire, it's easy. The only issue I could share is that on larger wire, such as the 14ga Audioquest speaker wire, you might need to shave the sleeve down a smidge to fit the collet over the wire. Other than that, it's great that the body of these banana plugs is plastic, that way you are less likely to accidentally touch and short the neighboring plug when installing or moving them around.

These work great and are not too difficult to thread to your speaker cable. Little pricey compared to some competition but build quality and materials are very good. Works great with my klipsch RF7-IIIs and Sony receiver.
