The mechanism for securing the speaker wire is a lot more resilient and less prone to the wire being accidentally ripped out. I highly recommend this product.

I was naive and my previous systems were all wire contact....and they used to slip out every time I moved the receiver or speakers. Further, you want these banana clips that slip on the top rather than the screw ones....these don’t slip and the screws do (thus defeating the purpose). FYI, these will be a headache for thicker wires.

Otherwise, its a bit of a pain to put on those collars but once you put them on, not having to strip wire while having a secure connection is nice!
