Great idea not so great in practice

Perhaps it was operator error, but put together 8 pairs of wires for speaker connections and had issues with more than half, the problem is getting the higher guage wire to be “pierced” properly and for the connector to solidly hold onto the wire jacket even with the adapter collars.

Don't connect well to wire

They don't have a way to secure the wire to the plug except for pressing the unstripped wire into a small pin in the center and then relying on a compression sleeve to hold the wire in place. It may work ok for larger wires but still doesn't provide the connectivity of fastening the stripped wire to the pin directly with a screw or sleeve that clamps the wire to the plug.
