Good way to connect speaker wire to banana plug capable sound systems especially old school setups

Didn't work for the speaker install I needed. I ended up picking up another product with another retailer.

Was forced to buy these because the new receiver I bought can't just allow me to plug in my RCA jacks as I have all my life. These are useless without the little compression collars they include. The black ones are for 16 to 18 gauge wire, and the white are for the 12 to 14 gauge. The problem there is I have 14 gauge speaker wire and the white ones slide right off. So I tried the black ones and they fit on one, but not on the other. I double checked the gauge, and they are both 14 gauge. The white collars don't fit on either, the black ones fit on one set. The amount of money I have spent on trying to hear my music collection is well over $1000, and still nothing. Do not shop here. I am done wasting my money and being treated as bad as the stuff they sell.

This is a great product when used in the appropriate application. I bought it to attach my bookshelf speakers to my DTV... NOT the proper application. I returned it, sadly. I was so hopeful.

They seem to be made well but come with no instructions on how to use them and seem to have weird wire holding set-up!

I bought these online without seeing how the speakers hooked up to the receiver. I didn’t need them, so I returned them. Best Buy customer service representative was very friendly and helpful with my return.

could not connect the wire. I am sure I wasn't doing it right however I expect the instruction to be more clear and detailed.

Good not great banana plugs but they do the job. I’m still happy with my purchase just a lot of finagling with these to make the connections.

Needed to replace 2 banana plugs that broke off my monster speaker cable. These were a great purchase and replacement. Not too difficult to change.

I bought these to have the ability to quickly connect or disconnect my speaker wires from my speakers and AV receiver.

Needed 10, so had to buy 3 packs. Can be troublesome to put together, as I didn't see any graphics about which way the clamping grommet is installed.

Not the best but it got the job done. I do find that I’m constantly having to reconnect the plug to the speaker wire, but over all I’m satisfied.

These do the job. Price wise, they are a bit higher as you can get a larger pack an Amazon. Also, they are a bit cumbersome to put together.

Rockfish Banana Plugs works as described, however, no instructions how to install the cable into the plugs and which accessory clamp is for what gauge to use. Youtube is the way to go for instructions.
