I suggest that the instructions tell folks to take off the little clear plastic covers first before trying to insert into the device, so that non-techies like me won't have to figure that out eventually.

So when I throw trash out from sound bar box ,wires for optical were inside so they are gone forever never got to try them out but lucky me the system had a spare one.

Great sound transfer/

The spealers on the small tv were so muffled it was hard to hear. Now I can enjoy crisp sound with my 1080 picture!

The Geek Squad installed Sonos wireless speakers throughout our residence and these cables were utilized to set up a surround sound system in our living room.

I'm not tech savvy obviously.
