The tv directions told us to go through the menu to connect the sound bar. With this cable we just plugged it in both devices and it picked up the connection without any other work.

Make sure you know what cords your TV supports.

So I had to return it. This review is to advise you to double check what your TV is compatible with so you don't have to make a return. Great brand!

Customer service has always been great. Everybody is very knowledgable and helpful. Bestbuy is the only place I shop for tv's, stereo equipment, etc.
