They get the job done, no issues. The digital surround is awesome!

I went to Best Buy not knowing exactly what I needed. The salesman was very helpful in selecting the proper product which I did need. The optical cable I purchased was easy to hook up and works perfectly.

Both ends fit the socket. It is a wire what else is there to say?

I have never had a worse time plugging a cable into an electronic device. I was in hopes of connecting a new Samsung smart TV with an Insignia Optical/Coax Digital-to-Analog Converter. My analog wireless Sennheiser earphone transmitter was plugged into the converter. I had no sense that the loose fitting optical cable plugs were in far enough in nor would stay in. As hard as I could try, I never got any satisfaction that TV's optical digital - audio signal ever made to the converter. In the end, I just plugged the earphones transmitter into the brand new Comcast cable box and immediately got sound in the earphones of the programming on the TV. I'd wish that I'd known in advance that Samsung smart TV had NO analog audio out.

I got this product on best buy to fix some problems with my home theatre system but if you are not in the hurry you may find a cheaper version surfing the web!!!

Connected seamlessly to my TV and sounds pretty good

I got these to replace the one that came withy Turtle Beach surround sound headset. I was getting a lot of interference on the set so I thought I'd get a new cable. After I got this headset the interference is gone!

Don't notice any benefits from using optical cable for audio

installed the cable but so far the soundbar is not working.

But kind of expensive. However its the cheapest option

I don't have as much to say about this versus a larger item like the tv I purchased with it :) but it does what is should do and seems to work well

This item was actually returned, but the only reason is because I needed a longer one so I bought an 8 ft cable and that is the only reason. Love there product. Keep up the good work Rocketfish.

This is the cheapest fiber optic cable BB carries which makes me wonder. I would've bought any other brand except Monster. They all do the same thing, I just wouldve like a lil variety in choice of Off brand cables

The best part of this little cable is the great service at Best Buy. I asked to be directed to this product at the front door and employee handed it to me 10 seconds later.

This was my first time using an optical audio cable and found out it was not hard to install, but a simple set of instructions or picture would have made me feel better when opening the package.

Having finally entered the 21st century and gotten digital audio, I didn't want to lose anything along the way. This cable seems so much sturdier than the one that came with the audio system.

The molded connectors fit snugly into the optical port, with definite feedback. The digital signal has never wavered or crackled, and the TV has been moved many times on the swivel mount since installation. Good cable for when space is not at a premium.
