That way one remote works your Samsung tv and soundbar. I returned this cable. Reps need to educate themselves on products they sell.

Disappointing customer service

So I bought a 6' or 8' cable and it worked. However, Best Buy would not return the money for the 4' cable when I returned it in perfect shape and in the same box, ready to be sold again. They did give me a Best Buy gift card in the amount of my purchase. Very disappointed.

But besides that, you guys are usually pretty good.

The connector will not stay in the ToSLINK port.
