First time user. Great price, works well. Have not had any problems.

Avoid the headache.. if you buy a sound bar- get the optic cable...note you have to take the plastic tips off ( hard to see them) and you wont have the audio / video timing issue (unless you're watching an old Bruce Lee movie).

These cables are easy to install between components. We had some extra from another installation, so ended up returning these, but would buy them again if we needed replacements in the future. Handle well. Not clunky and too stiff like some these days.

I bought this digital optical audio cable after a best buy tv salesperson recommended it, and I'm completely satisfied with this product. It provides an easy connection between my Samsung sound bar and my LG LED TV. The biggest advantage that this product offers is an easy set up for sound; After plugging this optical cable into my tv and connecting my sound bar to it, I had zero tv-soundbar volume synching problems, as I've known some others to have with other products. Thumbs up to this cable for making great sound easy!

Had a gift card that I wanted to part with and saw this little gem on the shelf. Picked it up since I needed it today and I had some spare money on my gift card, When I got home I promptly hooked it up and it is now feeding dreamy 192k to my external DAC. So it is indeed doing a great job! The only downside is the fact that the cable is a tad pricey if you compare it to the price of monoprice's cables. But this is about as good a cable as you can get locally for under $20.

some devises you cant just use a hdmi cord to give you full surround sound. for example xbox. that's where a optical cord helps. its much better than standard red and white cables too.

This is a better optical cable then what came with my Sony television. The only problem is, I had problems with it fitting correctly with my mounted tv.

Being a novice in the use of optical cables and never have seen a cable like this before, it would have been nice to know that the clear plastic caps have to be removed. The instructions don't mention it. But, that being said, it is a high quality cable. The sound seems to be better than the analog connection.

Easy to install once you realize there is a cap on the connections. For some reason I didnt notice and was trying to connect it for at least 10 minutes before I realized.

Love this Item. I didn't know there was such a thing until the sales person told us about it. Beats multi wires! Just make sure your TV has this type of hookup.

I bought this cord to connect my Home theatre to my LCD Flat Screen TV. It was pretty easy to connect. It worked so I am okay with. No problem at this time.

Not much to say besides that it works without issue. I'm not an audiophile but to my ears everything sounds great. You can beat the price either.
