it works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this optical cable after buying a roku premiere and discovering it had to be plugged into the tv to get a 4K picture. i wanted 5.1 audio from my pioneer receiver and the only way to do that was with an optical cable. plugged it in, got all the settings right and i'm in 4k 5.1 heaven!

Sound is so much better

Cable Does Its Job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been advised by several "techies" that if I wanted to get a truer synch between sound and movements/lips/object responses that I should stop using other connections between my sound bar and the tv screen that I should buy an optical cord. I did and this cord really improves the synch!
