We wanted to connect our soundbar to our tv in our bedroom but our tv didn't have an optical connection so we asked a best buy associate and they said all we had to do was connect it directly to our cable box and it works great!

Cables work very well, and is well worth the price.

In a digital age with wires going everywhere, it's easy to have a "rat's nest" behind every TV. This does the job and has just enough reach without all the leftover cable adding to the mess of wires. Be sure to measure, though. If your audio device is above your TV or has to be wired behind or around something, you may need that 6' or better. Also, you need to measure for enough room to hook it up. Upon occasion, you may need to turn the TV to connect something else, and you don't want your optical cable getting ripped out. Account for the slack you'll need.

Didn't ever thing a digital optical sound wire could make that much difference, boy was I wrong! The immediate difference in sound on both my surround systems was felt instantaneously. I couldn't recommend more to folks out there that having digital audio is where it's at & using to old RCA's is like being in the stone age of sound haha. I joke a bit of course but I'm very happy with this purchase & glad a sales rep insisted on me getting 2 of these.

An Optic cable is used to connect things like TVs to sound bars for great fidelity. Best Buy had the product (some electronics stores do not) and at a value price (other stores charge an arm and a leg). The cable at Best Buy was just what I needed!

The cable came in the correct length, was very easy to install between the TV and the Polk(R) audio sound bar. Works great, sound quality is super.

I recently purchased a Digital optics audio cable to link my Home theater to my 60 inch TV. Very easy to install and works great.

I don't know what our sound bar system sounds like without it since the salesman recommended this product the same time we bought it but he said it'd help with Bluetooth woofer, which sounds great, so I'm guessing its doing its job.

Salesmen recommended this cable rather then a HDMI cable. This saved me some money and it works good.

We did not know how to set up our sound bar. The sales person was very helpful in explaining to us how to set up our sound bar. We came home and did what the sales person told us to do and the sound bar worked.

I am relatively new to optical cables. My new Peachtree DAC warranted the best in connectors, and I think this cable definitely answered that need. I sense no degradation in signal between my Oppo Blu-Ray and the DAC. Nice!!!
