I had purchased a Samsung sound bar. When I got home I found out shortly that I need a differnt kind of cord to make it link to my tv. Best buy staff pointed me the direction to purchase the cord that was needed for my tv.

My HDTV only has 2 HDMI outlets. But I also noticed it has an optical cable option. This was great since I wanted to connect my surround sound to my TV. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable!

My soundbar sounds wonderful! The four feet is plenty enough length for our 60' TV. It sounds great and am very happy!

I needed a digital optical cable to run from my television back to the receiver. I considered more expensive options, but chose this as a temporary fix until I could get something high-end. After installing it I quickly realized there wasn't a need to replace it. It has worked beautifully and given me no problems at all. I say save your money, get this cable, then invest the money you would have spent on a more expensive cable somewhere else in your home theater audio setup.

This is a thick fiber optic cable that I'm not worried about breaking by simply bending it. I really appreciate what BBY has done with this product making it a durable piece that I can rely on. Worth the buy.

After purchasing a similar product from an online vendor, my AV receiver wasn't picking up the signal. I purchased the Rocketfish cable and the optical signal was much brighter and everything is working GREAT!

Netflix does not send audio through my home theater system and this cable resolved it by connecting it from the TV back to my home theater system. Great surround sounds and really enjoy it.

If you are purchasing with a television and Soundbar, ask for a discount. Lots of profit in these and the store sales associates have some room to maneuver on the cables if you are buying a system.

I bought a new 4k HD TV and my 6 year old surround sound wouldn't work with the original HDMI, so I had to purchase the optical cable and now my surround sound works.

Nice thick cable. Not like other thin cables that I feel like I can break. I like the way this one feels and it gets the job done. Love the nice solid "click" when you plug it in as well.

We just wanted something that would make our Sound Bar work. It did. We're happy. We're making popcorn as I write this and we're planning a movie marathon of Bill Murray comedies. Don't you envy us?

This was a nice additional to a great product, it was easy to set up and the sound quality is recognizable right away.

Needed the cable to connect the sound from my TV to my sound bar, optical gives the best transfer. Cable was a little pricey compared to ones on-line, but couldn't wait for the shipping delay.

We were unable to connect our Sony sound system up properly to our 4K Sony XBR tv. These cables worked wonders!!!!! Our sound is fantastic...along with the wonderful picture.

We had to buy a replacement optical in cable because our cats ate through the original one. This one is much thicker and sturdier. We like it and it does exactly what it was intended to do.
