I had to get these because my new tv did not have an aux output. It works great but lags about 1/4 of a second behind the picture rate. This is a good resort if you have no other options to hook a sound bar or some speakers.

Best Buy is my go-to for any electronic needs, I am always confident that I only need to make one trip, and they will have the cables, etc that I need to hook up my electronics.

I bought this as an upgrade for my sound bar when I bought a new TV. I haven't compared it to the old Monoprice one, but it seems good enough. I don't think I'd buy it again.

I bought this cable to fix an audio/video timing issue with Rocksmith 2014 on Xbox One. It did what I needed it to do, and I found a used cable, which made the annoying timing problem worth fixing. I haven't noticed any difference in sound quality between the optical cable and my home cable, but the optical cable should give you better sound quality if you have problems with electromagnetic interference.

first time using one of these but you just gotta love how easily everything connects now a days an hdmi and one of these and your set up to ur cable or satellite box it's great

I bought this cable to replace another optical cable I had bought online. My previous cable did not fit snugly into the outputs so if I had to move or readjust anything the cable would come unplugged. This one fits securely on both ends. The only fault that I could find was that I purchased this as an open box and it was missing the covers for the ends of the cable. Luckily it's functions properly.

I bought a Sony sound bar which came with a very thin digital audio cable, but I wanted one with a thicker feel. I chose Rocketfish. I am a fan of their products.

It works just fine. Being a digital component, I could have shopped around and gotten a cheaper one, but I was in a rush, so I ran to Best Buy and nabbed this one. Do your research, no need to spend a lot of money on digital cables ( HDMI etc. )

Not well priced for $29.99 for 4feet cable. Tho works perfectly fine. Couldn't find any cheaper by price matching. So I bought a openbox one was little cheaper.

I recently bought an inexpensive sound bar for my TV and found that there was little improvement over my TV's built-in speakers. My brother-in-law suggested that I should try replacing the optical cable. I went to Best Buy and bought a 4-ft Rocketfish optical cable. The improvement in the sound quality was significant, and the price for the Rocketfish cable was very reasonable. I'm a happy camper.

I was going to purchase an optical cord on Amazon but the sales manager price matched Amazon for me. Ended up not needing it for a soundbar because my TV has ARC ability.

Provides great audio quality. Just long enough to reach from my tv to my soundbar.

The Rocketfish optical cable is a great choice for any brand sound bar. This is the second one we have purchased. We got one for my inlaws sound bar as well.

The cable seems sturdily built. lights at both ends when plugged in and connects digital equipment fine. Would buy again, maybe longer but that is for a different system, this length works fine for straight set up

So I was previously unaware that optical cables were a required need for our home TV system. Well the folks at Best Buy told me I needed them. So I did it. Having never bought them before, I have nothing to compare them to. Easy to use and they seem to do their job. I am grateful that my soundbar does not require me to use up a precious HDMI port now that I am using the all powerful optical cables, so that is good.
