This was exactly what I was looking, the length is perfect. Sound is very clear.

So I was previously unaware that optical cables were a required need for our home TV system. Well the folks at Best Buy told me I needed them. So I did it. Having never bought them before, I have nothing to compare them to. Easy to use and they seem to do their job. I am grateful that my soundbar does not require me to use up a precious HDMI port now that I am using the all powerful optical cables, so that is good.

Perfect length and great picture. Works as good or better than regular inputs.

These are the lower priced cables and are good quality and fit the connections perfectly.

These cables can be over-priced & don't differ a whole lot from brand to brand from what I can tell (if they are a good brand name of course). Already had a GE one & needed another & didn't want to spend a lot. I found this one on sale & bought it to hook up audio from my Blue Ray player to my semi-antique (circa 1999) stereo receiver via optical connection. Works like it was supposed to. Now I have 5.1 sound & loving it.

The sound quality it's perfect... Easy plug and play into my tv from the surround sound.

Changed the quality of every thing from picture to sound, love them, well worth the money.

I ended up taking this back, however, I've used Rocketfish cables in the past, and they've never disappointed. Good products with an awesome name.

First time user of digital optical cable, very impressed with ease of use and sound quality.

Bought a Samsung TV and Samsung Blu-Ray 3D player with 5.1 dolby digital surround sound. I wanted the BluRay to be connected via optical rather than HDMI. Geek squad took care of everything. Smartest money I ever spent was to have the Squad come in and set up everything and make sure it all worked with my Directv satellite signal.

Simple to hook up to the Subwoofer Sound bar and television. The cable has enough length to move from one side of the television to the other side.

The installation is great once you realize you have to remove the price of plastic that is their to protect the eye until it's used....Very Simple

I just did not think I could hook up my cd Onkyo disc player with all these cords . . . . .but it was a very simple operation . . . . . so glad I did it myself.

10 times thicker than the flimsy optical cable that came w/ soundbar. Worth every penny at $7 on sale, audio doesn't fade in/out any longer.

Well, its a cable, so there's not a whole lot to say about it. Its used to connect my Samsung smart TV to my Insignia soundbar and it does the job.

My original Bose optical cord with its super thin cord was chewed thru by my cat. This cord is thicker and works just fine with my Bose Solo TV sound system.

I used these to connect my TV to a soundbar and I found them easy to use, good quality.

This is an excellent quality optical cable. Perfect length, works fine.

What you get out of these cables depends on your overall electronics setup. If you are not using high end, you probably don't need to worry about getting cables like this.

I went into the store and the sales rep said that this was the item that I needed so, I bought it and he was right. Everything is all good.
