The quality of the actual device is very good. The remote on the other hand is a different matter. It is a cheaply designed remote that only works half the time. Pressing the buttons on the switch works every time.If you need additional HDMI ports for a 4K TV, this works perfectly but expect to get off the couch to switch ports on the box because of the remote.

It works 4 different things through it. It’s easy to use. It comes with a remote that lets you hit whatever number hdmi you want. Highly recommend

I was in the process of updating all my cables and stuff on my home entertainment system and I ran out of HDMI ports on my TV. UGH! After I made a few concessions on convenience I had my system all set up and then the light bulb went off in my head when I saw the Rocketfish HDMI switcher. Works as advertised. I knocked off 1 star because the remote is flimsy and does not have any loops or holes to place a wristband on it.

purchased this product because my present tv doesn't have enough HDMI ports. Easy to plug in and touch controlled instead of having to use a remote...great

Great Product no issues so far. With the increase in devices and some TV's only having 1-2 4k ports, this was a god send to have multiple consoles hooked up to a limited amount of 4k ports. The remote is also a great added feature not having to get up every time you want to switch to a different device.

Works great. Easy way to to set up multiple devices and use only one HDMI cable to the TV.

Useful for gamers. Usually switches inputs automatically when you turn on one of the devices plugged in, which can be a blessing or a curse depending on if you have a device attached that is easy to accidentally turn on. Wish that one of the input plugs wasn’t on the front, but otherwise great product

This HDMI switch works well for 4K HDR but there are a lot more switches out there that are cheaper and better. The issues for me: 1. No CEC 2. Auto switching does not work well 3. Remote is absolutely horrible and does not work with the switch you literally have to press the buttons 5 times to get the switch to switch ports.

Have one already and thought it was dead. Ordered this the same day, picked up, and my TV mysteriously turned on. I will return this one, but the Rocketfish I have is great.

Bought this HDMI switch after I was left with only one working HDMI port on my TV. Works pretty well and does its job. Main con so far is the remote, which I have to double-click each button to change the input since 1 press does not work most of the time (had to figure this out myself, I thought the remote was just broken at first). Also the large AC adapter hogs up space on the power strip which can be annoying.

I recently purchased an OLED tv which I had mounted to the wall. I wanted to get rid of the mess of cords and originally was going to get a wireless adaptor, but I would loss 4k functionality. I ultimately went with this switch which has performed as advertised. Little to no lag time when switching ports. You can also switch ports by touch which is useful given the fact that the remote is so small and can easily be lost.

Products like this usually leave you wanting more, but this one is very nice. It automatically switches to your device as long as only one device is on. Great picture and sound quality. Notice some initial snow on a black screen but seems to clear once device is on and properly selected.

I bought a TV and had only 2 HDMI ports. This is just what i needed to give me extra HDMI ports for my other TV devices. Very easy to use as well.

This HDMI switch works really well. I’ve had no issues with 4k video with this switch, it’s been working really well. The HDMI port on the front is kind of awkward since it makes placement of the switch a little harder if you’re using that port. Other than that if you find it in special deal go for it. It’s kind of overpriced at its original price.

Easy to setup and use great for managing multiple retro consoles

I used to always go up to the monitor to switch inputs between devices but when I started getting more devices i needed a better alternative, because I can't also keep plugging in and unplugging HDMI cables. I have my desktop, Xbox, Roku, and laptop cord all plugged into this and can easily switch between them by tapping the number or pressing it on the remote, depending on what device I'm using at the time. It's a huge time-saver and I'm so glad it handles 4k!

It works, does what it supposed to do... But there are cheaper alternatives out there...

You get what you pay for, you know...it gets the job done but I found that at times I had to cycle through the inputs to get it to work. The remote is pretty much obsolete but hey, this switch box is a much cheaper option than other products on the market so...I say give it a chance unless you are expecting to change sources from the comfort of your favorite chair, couch or bed.

This is a really good HDMI switch, and really works well with my components. The one drawback, which is also one of the reasons I chose it, is limitations to the remote. I have to press the selection repeatedly before getting my desired option, which is quite frustrating. I have not yet tried replacing its battery in all fairness.
