Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product after picking up a new alienware gaming tower (I had previously purchased an ASUS Rog 20 gtx 970 about three years back which was great for gaming but when it became both my work tower and the gaming tower heat became a problem for a system being used sixteen hours a day). With two towers and no desire to have separate monitors I picked up the rocketfish switcher box. It's easy to set, up with four total outputs hdmi ports. You can go less expensive, but I've liked using rocketfish cables and since I was connecting a 1080gtx and a 970gtx tower to the same monitor I thought it was worth it to go 4k. No problems so far. Switching between inputs is easy via either the front of the switch box or with a remote (however the remote gets touchy at about ten feet away so make sure the box is unobstructed if you're doing an entertainment center hook up between multiple gaming consoles). It does need one open wall outlet space for the power adapter, so figure that into your logistics. Now I just need to find a good usb switcher box so I can stop swapping keyboards.

There is not enough room in my home for that separation. These instructions were only available in the package fine print.

Manual says it does, but equipment does not. Had to turn off HDR functionality of blu-ray and TV to get it to work. Purchasing another brand that supports HDR capability. Returning switch to Best Buy

I then go to and get a new battery. I found that I had to stand no more than about 2 feet for it to work. Took it back got a replacement and guess what, the same thing.
