All my lights, the audio systems, TV, receiver, speakers, my home theater system now can be controlled by voice. The only problem that I have struggled for a long time is I still unable to control my PC system in the way I want. I have 4 differences sources (PC, android box, PS4, Macbook) in my bedroom which are connected to the same monitor and to the same speaker system (AudioEngine). My problem is I have to manual make an adjustment each time I change the source and the audio system isn't able to change automatically. For example, If I want to use the PS4, I have to manually switch to the HDMI port 2 on my monitor and choose the input optical for my audio system on the app. And when I want to use the computer I have to switch back the HDMI 1, the input line-in for my sound system. Sometimes it makes me crazy because of the inconvenience. And this product is the perfect piece for my situation since it can compatibility with Harmony Hub as well as Alexa and Google Home. I love the compatibility between these products. Now I connecting all my sources to this HDMI switched hub, and all those sources are connected to my AudioEngine speaker (through the Denon receiver- Heos Link DS2). The harmony hub + Denon receiver + Rocketfish HDIM hub work very well together. Putting all 4 differences sources into 1 monitor and 1 audio systems. Now I just grab the Harmony remote and choose the mode I want to use (PC, PS4, macbook) or just simply ask Alexa to turn on PC, turn on PS4. It automatically changes the HDMI port on my monitor and chooses the right sound input that I set up for each source.

This is middle of the road product. I bought a cheaper type product that didn’t work. There are also more expensive options. This device will extend your hdmi inputs. You will need to switch between hdmi.

The remote issue people are having comes from pushing the button to hard. Gently push it and it works fine! Only dislike it there is an HDMI outlet in the front. Kinda tacky.

Thin is only in when it works. Fortunately, the front is all touch sensitive so you don’t need a remote. I can’t even understand why people think having an input on the front is a bad thing! If you need more than four inputs, plus the ones on your receiver and your TV…get another switch and chain them… it’s just what you do. This switch works perfectly. I haven’t had a single problem in years. It just works.

I had a cheap "2k/4k" swtich I got from ebay. Worked fine, but when it came to the xbox one s it would only recognize the Xbox One S 4K capability when Ultra Color (HDR) was not enabled. Once enabled the input would cut out. Upgraded to this one and it works flawlessly. Now I have an option for Xbox One S, laptop, cable and eventually PS4 Pro when it drops (and Project Scorpio next year) for 4K access. Very happy with this purchase.
