I really like this product. Streamlining all your HDMI inputs into one port on your television is a game changer. I really like how if I power on my PlayStation or Xbox, the device will automatically switch to the correct input. No more fumbling with the television remote to select the input. It just works- as advertised. I was incredibly happy with my purchase.

The on sale price was a good one so I purchased it. Set up was a snap. But the remote di not work well. Didi not mind because I have to get up anyway to shut off my components as I do not have a multi unit remote. Switching from the front interface is flawless and works well. I will stick with it .

I need it to feed my Samsung TV whose built-in HDMI switch always screws up an attached Samsung sound system input from HDMI downgrade to bluetooth, a long time known issue. It worked perfectly. Only the input numbering is little bit unnatural: ,2,3,4 for the back main inputs, 1 for the front, instead of 1,2,3 and 4 for the front.

Here’s the problem. I had two mini computers with only HDMI outputs and a monitor with one HDMI input. How do I connect both computers to the 2560 x 1440 resolution monitor? I thought this would be rather simple. Wouldn’t you think? I first tried a passive (no external power) HDMI switch. The screen blanked out so many times using either computer, that it was completely useless. The switch even said it would work up to 4K resolution. I then tried an HDMI to DVI adapter for one computer since there was a DVI input as well. The adapter said it was good to 4K resolution. Well, it worked but the resolution was only 1920 x 1080. Finally, I tried this device which was a powered HDMI switch. I plugged everything in, and presto, it worked! I’ve been using it for over a month and it works great. Some have complained about the remote control buttons; I can’t comment on that since I am using it on my desk and do not need the remote. But the unit has capacitive touch selection on the front panel that works well, and that’s what I use. The only problem I encountered was that once in a while when a computer is asleep and I turn it on, there may not be an output. This is remedied by switching to another input and back to the input in use.

I first tried a $47 device off of Amazon. That device was very finicky. I had to buy new cables just to get it to halfway work, but then it would drop audio. However, the Rocketfish device is not picky at all. I can use any of my cables with it, and it will do full 4k@60, HDR, and no audio issues. I will say here what I said there: It seems to me that if you're needing to buy expensive cables, then at least one device in your chain is poorly made. My current chain is: Xbox One S > RocketFish 4k Switch > HDFury AVRKey > Vizio M50-E1. I also connect up a computer to the switch.

Small, portable, Good packaging. A bit pricey compared to other versions on-line.

This HDMI switch works as described. It will pass a 4K signal with HDR. This is the more affordable one I could find that works. This does not automatically switch to different sources you have to manually push a button on the remote. Some reviews are saying that the buttons don't respond but I found that you need to press down and hold it for a little longer for it to switch to a different source. I currently have an Oppo 203, Xbox one and ps4 connected to this switch no issues at all. If you are looking for a 4K/HDR HDMI switch that won't break the bank this is it.

Easy to set up. Provides 4 HDMI ports, I only had one. Great for gaming, fire, and cable.

Don't like the fact that the fourth issue my part is in the front which you should stay in the back with all the other AC reports and the remote control was just too Jinky they could have done better on the controller for the price you're paying

Totally satisfied. I can now use all my video/streaming accessories with an easy switch on the control unit.

It's small and lightweight so it doesn't take up much space or look bulky. 4K Picture quality is pristine on all channels.

We had one previously for 9 years. Worked great. Replacing with this new 4K one.

Xcellent product. Does exactly what it says. No excuse for not enough HDMI ports. My Samsung TV has only 2 HDMI ports. Now that no longer matters.

Let me start by saying that even with my issue, I still really enjoy this device. I have it mounted on the backside of my desk within reach so I don't need the remote. A quick touch of my finger and it switches inputs no problem. Everything works like its supposed. Except for one issue. I don't know if its common or not but I noticed that in the last week or so (I've had it about a month now) once in awhile the screen will randomly go black. Sometimes for a very brief second, other times for a few seconds. I have no idea why. Doesn't happen super often to make it a huge problem, but after paying $80 it is an inconvenience.

Works well. Unfortunately, necessary because the new Samsung tv does not have the inputs that the old one did.

This passes 4k signal with no issue. Easy to setup. Response to remote is flaky at best. Source change is instantaneous when using "buttons" on the switch it self, but remote is recognized about 50% of the time. I changed battery day 1 thinking it must be dead, but that was no help. I would still recommend because for the price it works, I just wish the remote worked better and/or this could be controlled with other remotes.

For you gamers out there, this works perfectly! I have my Switch, Xbox One S and PS4 Pro connected to this and it works perfectly! Little to no input lag. I wanted to make this quick review for people that might wonna use it for that. Only saw one other review mention video games and I took a chance because of that guy and I’m glad I did. I just wanted to make you at ease if you were considering this and wasn’t sure. Only negative is the input 1 is on the front. Really bad oversight and this looks ugly. But I just put my 3 game systems on inputs 2, 3 and 4! Overall, It’s a great product! Well built and sturdy! You won’t be dissspointed !

Great use for multiple hdmi devices at home entertainment set up.
