I had previously purchased an ultra-small unit from another vendor, and it failed miserably. Took my problem to BestBuy (should have done that first), and they recommended this unit. It works great. The Samsung recognizes all the inputs, which the previous unit did not, the small remote switches the inputs flawlessly, and we get to enjoy all our media. I would not hesitate to recommend this to those trying to solve a similar problem.

This switcher is well made compared to the cheap ones you can get on Amazon or eBay. Though this switcher is a bit pricey. I don’t like the HDMI port in the front of the unit. Makes cable routing a bit awkward. But they probably designed for convenience for connecting devices that you don’t intend to leave plugged in all the time.
