My first one remained packaged until the warranty had already expired so it was too late to return before realizing the issues. After implementing it into my gaming systems (Ps5 & Xbox series x) it began not switching between hdmi without a 10-20 second delay. When it finally switched it would cut out sound every 30 seconds. Did a hard reset to no avail. Researched all possible provlems and tried to self diagnose issues. As time went on i could not get the HDMi even switch over. Picture quality would fluctuate between 4k and atari 2600 visuals. Finally removed it and eventually replaced it with another unit (figured the 1st was a fluke). Nope. 2nd one has begyn doung the same thing after 2 months of use. Though it worked well when it did, too inconsistent and now it has begun to exhibit the same non-switching concerns. I’ve upgraded cables and everything. Sorry Rockfish, i can’t support you anymore. Will return as soon as possible.

The cheaper ones did not work with a 4K television. The screen would blink every couple seconds. This is due to them not being HDCP 2.2 compliant. The TV thought I was trying to illegally copy 4k content. So I use them with non 4K displays. The 4k version of the unit works just fine and gave my tv a total of 8 HDMI slots, all of which i needed.
