There are other ones of higher quality like in the gold but the price is much higher as well. For all my TVs, I buy high quality HD cables. It does make a difference with overall picture quality as well.

But after trying 2 cheap ones (one over a year old that worked with our old tv, second one brand new) on our new 4k Samsung tv and having the same problem we went with this one. FINALLY, NO MORE BLACK SCREEN GLITCHES!!!! We can steam movies/tv shows from our phone to tv with the 20ft cord and it works great!!! Highly recommend! Will buy shorter cords as well soon!
