I needed it to ensure that my HDMI devices were giving the best possible signal to the TV. It's been a great cable and the video/audio signal from the device has been wonderful.

I got into a bind on a Sunday and needed a cable immediately expecting to pay a ton. Luckily I was wrong an have had no issues with 4K content at all, (streaming from a laptop.)

Perfect HDMI cable

These are now on all 3 of my home entertainment setups and are my go to HDMI cables of choice.

I'm not a tech guy so i honestly don't know if it's any different than the one i had on the old TV i replaced, but my neighbor who is way more knowledgeable than I am said it's always a good idea to upgrade since technology changes so fast. Mine old one was almost 10 years old. But i have no complaints about ther purchase
