We have this version and the previous version on the same TV and see no performance difference. 8 feet is the maximum length I'm willing to go with HDMI cables.

It was easy to fish through the wall. Turns out it's a little short so I will be returning, but that's my fault not the products.

Magically the information was sent to the the TV and appeared via the cable. Amazing. It’s doesn’t take a rocket doctor to figure out.

Excellent thick cable for high definition TV.

When he checked my connections, he concluded that my tv was going out. With my tv less than a year old, I thought I would give a new cable between my tv and receiver, a try and problem solved.....

I cant say they are good or bad. I wish I had the tv initially connected without them so that I could comment on the difference after they were added. The fact is we love the picture on our new tv...Im just not sure how much of a role the upgraded. wires play. sorry

A 4' would have done the job and left left cord to try and hide. Be sure to measure out the distance from your add ons to the HDMI ports on the TV!
