    This connector is used thru wall to connect Apple TV 4K and a Samsung 85” QLED. The cable allows me to get the full capabilities of the Apple TV output to this gorgeous display. Gameday, Movie and Game night just got better.

"HDMI 2.0: Increased maximum bitrate to 18 Gbps to support new formats such as Ultra High Definition 4K video (3840 x 2160 pixels) at up to 60 frames per second.     Great product, but I am uncertain as to why the were required. The potential for a short/fire was about zero with the existing Rocketfish HDMI cables.

    I got this new HDMI cord with my new tv. This cord is the right length and is compatible with the higher level 4k and HDR features that my old cord didn't have. I don't have a problem with this cord. If you upgrade your tv you need the right cable to transfer the same level of data. Most people don't know that if the cord isn't the same level then you won't get the same level quality because it drops the data down to its rated level. So I always recommend upgrading the HDMI cord when you upgrade a TV or other device.
