This cable does what it’s supposed to, and though it’s a little pricey, its quality appears to make it worth the added expense. HDMI cables seem simple enough, but given that they’re transporting both the video and the audio from a receiver to a TV, and they’re doing so digitally, it’s important to always have a good, solid connection. With a weaker connection, you can get “dropouts,” where the picture and sound disappear for a second, then come back, then do it again, and that’s usually intermittent, which makes it difficult to troubleshoot. That was the problem with the cable this one replaced, on my mother-in-law’s new TV. We put up the new TV and used the existing HDMI cable, since no one had complained about issues with it. But then she mentioned it, and upon further investigation, she revealed that “the old TV did that, too, and if you jiggled the cable a little, it would usually go away.” Sigh. Bought this new cable, and it’s been trouble-free ever since. A quality cable is cheap insurance.

You get what you pay for, it is true. We had a plain old HDMI cable, but we were not getting the 4K experience from our television that we should. We purchased two of these, and it has made a world of a difference! Use this on your Playstation 4!! You will not believe how much better the graphics look if you have an old or generic HDMI cable.

The Rocketfish HDMI cable delivers as promised, but may be a little on the expensive side. I have heard conflicting "expert" advice regarding the need to purchase expensive HDMI cables. Some say it does not matter and others go through the roof explaining the need to pay more to get a better signal delivery. I still do not know if it is necessary, but the Rocketfish cable delivers excellent quality video.
