I explained that although I was purchasing a 4K HDTV, I did not yet have anything that would input a 4K signal. He assured me that I could use it with my existing equipment and that I would see a noticeable difference once connected to a 4K device. I hooked it up to my brand new TV and it got no signal (audio or video). I'm holding on to it in case it is only compatible with a 4K device. Hopefully it will work.
