We thought that 4 feet would be enough since all of our equipment and TV is close together, but we have to run the cord directly behind the TV instead of with the other cables to make it work.

The picture is vibrant and crystal-clear. I highly suggest swapping out the HDMI that comes with the Nintendo with this product. We are pleased with the purchase.
