    I didn't really shop around for this. The price was right and I had a pretty targeted need. I had no issues with the product quality and have plenty left over for future audio pet projects.

    Bought this to set up stereo for switching video and audio through a Yamaha amp to Definitive Technology speakers. Liked that the wire was marked so that polarity could be easily maintained. Had a nice feel to the covering and copper wire looked great thru the jacket.

    BestBuy.com rates this speaker wire as "oxygen free". I only gave it 4 stars, because it is not on the packaging anywhere. I was in a pinch and needed wire. I would HOPE that it is, because I have noticed a difference in comparison. Since this is for my computer office, I figured it would do. If it is, then I would say 5 stars, since the price is comparable, and it's convenient to walk in and buy it.

    it conducts the signal from amp to speakers. either the singal reaches the speakers and you get sound, or it doesnt and you dont. in this case, the sires inside the plastic shielding do their job. what else is there to say?
