We wanted to pre-wire our new construction home while it was in the framing stage to hide all the wires running from 1st floor, 2nd floor, and basement. This is a heavy gauge wire which helps boost the sound with great quality through out our home.

This is a very good quality wire,lot of other wires start cracking up in time so i switched to this one as i felt and saw the material they use looks better than others . This is the only reasone i bought it.

This transmits the sound with minimal signal loss. Perfectly adequate for even audiophile grade home theater and home audio setups. Insufficient for monitored studio environments but then you'd be buying vastly more expensive cables anyway.

Closely matched my monster speaker wire I purchased almost 20 years ago. Used to upgrade 5.1 to 7.1 system. Only needed enough wire for one speaker since i had leftover wire for my original setup.

Great wire for the price. 16 awg gold offers clear sound. 50ft is enough for all 5 speakers.

Positive and negative. It works well. Thick jacket. Excellent conduction of audio signals. It doesn’t add any color to the sound. Do not buy overpriced speaker wires. There is no discernible difference between this and higher priced wired.

I got this on sale, so it was a pretty good deal for this much wire. Quality seems good, but it’s pretty thick for 16 AWG when compared with the automotive speaker wire I’ve used in the past. I wanted the automotive wire, but they didn’t want to look in the install bay, so I just bought this. Not impressed with the service, but the wire is fine.

It is wire, after all. After 100 years, who could get away with bad wire these day? But having said that, there is one draw back. Most wire, especially specialty wire, is marked in order to identify the polarity of the wire. This is not. I had to literally trace all the wire to identify which end was which. You may ask, why? This is important because if you get one speaker reversed, you will have reversed polarity in the sound between the speakers, which not only creates a dead zone in the room but also consumes additional power. Without correction, this severely interferes with not only the performance of whatever equipment you are using, but also the enjoyment due to the degraded quality. It is only the slack of marking that reduces it from five stars to four stars, the wire itself is fine. While slightly off topic, I want to mention one other thing: regardless of the distances involved, make all wires the same length. Wire has resistance and a different lengths have different resistances which affects the "balance" of the system. Also choose the largest wire you can afford as the larger the wire the lower the resistance, the more you will get out of your system. This wire is a good size for most applications. If you want to be cheap, do NOT do it on the wire or the speakers. It does not matter how good all the front end equipment is, if the speakers or wire is junk, it WILL sound terrible.

This wire was easy to cut and install, it produced great sound from my sub woofer

Rocketfish has always been a solid brand, and this speaker wire spool is no exception. It works like a champ, and I'm able to get high-fidelity sound for a reasonable price. For a normal speaker installation/upgrade, you can't go wrong with buying this spool.

I purchased the Rocketfish 100 foot speaker wire based on the requirement rating for the Kilpsch Quintet Y home theater sound system to be used in my residence. The 100 foot roll provided just enough wire for the speakers in a 16 foot x 20 foot living room.

I was one speaker short of wires. I ordered these and installed and they are working great. System is color coded, + - so it took a little to keep track of which side was which from receiver to speaker, but have since marked with permanent marker.

I need some speaker wire so I stopped at Best Buy. I bought the 100' vice shorter to pay less per foot and to allow me to have extra on hand for next time. I have purchased Rocketfish speaker wire before and it has never failed me!!

It's 16 gauge speaker wire, Whoopee. They are easy to strip and prepare with good wire strippers. I give it 4 starts cuz the writing on the one side (positive or negative) is rather light and hard to read when hooking up to the speaker or receiver. I wish they used a darker print. Other than that its good wire.
