    Used smaller gauge wire in the past. Definitely better sound quality off the thicker gauge.

    It's speaker wire that works. At first, I didn't think it'd make much of a difference with my speakers, but the real difference is my amp quit tripping itself during heavy bass scenes. This is probably due to the impedence on the old speakers vs the new ones, which now match, but I can't be 100 certain. The casing is a little thick for the wire itself, However, it will still run behind my base boards along the floor just fine.

    This is adequate speaker wire. Nothing special, just copper wrapped in plastic. It will send sound to your speakers. The price was decent.
