    My fault. I guess I didn't look closely enough. It looks like 12ga wire but is actually 16ga. I needed this for long runs of in wall cable (35-50 ft). I wouldn't recommend it. I actually wouldn't recommend anything under 12ga for home theater application. I think the idea behind this product is to make it look like the thicker 12ga cable so people will buy it either without looking, or without knowing, since it looks just like the pricier 12ga Monster Cable. If you ever have a chance to work with 16ga cable you'll know what I mean. It is difficult to strip without pulling out half the conductor strands, especially when the insulation is so inordinately thick.
