I'm not sure how exactly to "rate" cables. They either work or they don't. These do. They seem very well-made. Will they work in 5 years? I don't know. Will they be adequate for the next standard to come down the pipe? I don't know. But they work now, and that's all I ask.

I bought this so that I could use a portable DVD player on my television but in fact there is no correct hook up on the back of the portable player so I have not use the cord. but my experience at Best Buy is usually very good.

The ends of this cable seem above average quality. Cable seems thicker than it needs to be.
