    Switched towers but held on to an older monitor (that still works great). My new tower didn't have the older monitor port. Luckily the monitor had an HDMI port and this works perfectly. Only regret was that after maneuvering the cord through my executive desk, the 4 foot length barely made it. I should have exchanged it for a 6 foot but didn't want the hassle of an exchange or cost.

    I was having issues getting my Sony TV to send audio to my Yamaha receiver via HDMI ARC. Thought I'd try a new cable as a last resort and to my surprise it actually did make a difference. This new cable worked immediately and both video and ARC audio have been fine ever since. While I'm not sure there's much benefit to $50+ HDMI cables, spending $30 on a decent quality RocketFish cable made a difference for my setup.
