Only issue I had with this was that it was just a little bit short for my needs. I really wish they had a 10’ option but I had to go up to to the 12’.

HDMI cables seem simple enough, but given that they’re transporting both the video and the audio from a receiver to a TV, and they’re doing so digitally, it’s important to always have a good, solid connection. With a weaker connection, you can get “dropouts,” where the picture and sound disappear for a second, then come back, then do it again, and that’s usually intermittent, which makes it difficult to troubleshoot. That was the problem with the cable this one replaced, on my mother-in-law’s new TV. We put up the new TV and used the existing HDMI cable, since no one had complained about issues with it. But then she mentioned it, and upon further investigation, she revealed that “the old TV did that, too, and if you jiggled the cable a little, it would usually go away.” Sigh. Bought this new cable, and it’s been trouble-free ever since. A quality cable is cheap insurance.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know it's shocking to see HDMI cable prices, but if you spend all that money on a new UHD TV, why not spend a few more bucks to ensure the best picture quality. Since these are not as expensive as other HDMI connectors I am using on DirectTV set that does not currently show 4K picture (except for ordering certain PPV movies). Otherwise I have more expensive HDMI for 4K DVD and from stereo to TV
