Good Cord

The cord is good for bringing out the 4K capabilities of the Apple TV and it gets the job done really well. I think 4 feet is perfect considering that the unit itself is sitting directly under the TV. I would not recommend this cord for gaming devices.

Reasonable Value for the Money

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This cable does what it’s supposed to, and though it’s a little pricey, its quality appears to make it worth the added expense. HDMI cables seem simple enough, but given that they’re transporting both the video and the audio from a receiver to a TV, and they’re doing so digitally, it’s important to always have a good, solid connection. With a weaker connection, you can get “dropouts,” where the picture and sound disappear for a second, then come back, then do it again, and that’s usually intermittent, which makes it difficult to troubleshoot. That was the problem with the cable this one replaced, on my mother-in-law’s new TV. We put up the new TV and used the existing HDMI cable, since no one had complained about issues with it. But then she mentioned it, and upon further investigation, she revealed that “the old TV did that, too, and if you jiggled the cable a little, it would usually go away.” Sigh. Bought this new cable, and it’s been trouble-free ever since. A quality cable is cheap insurance.

II'm pleased with the ability to get the high speed cable so that we can watch 4K programming over the cable box.

If you have upgrades to 4K via dish network hopper 3 etc, better and faster hdmi makes a noticeable and technical difference. However, keep in mind if you upgrade one hdmi cable, you have to upgrade the rest of them used in your setup.
