I have heard conflicting "expert" advice regarding the need to purchase expensive HDMI cables. Some say it does not matter and others go through the roof explaining the need to pay more to get a better signal delivery. I still do not know if it is necessary, but the Rocketfish cable delivers excellent quality video.

I guess I viewed expensive cables as overrated items, and I still hold that view to a certain degree. The truth is cheap cables often have poor connection designs leading to cable failure down the road. Rocket Fish was a non-overpriced quality cable option. I replaced my existing cheapos and have been satisfied ever since.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually couldn’t believe my video quality was suffering with my brand new Sony 75 inch 900f series tv and Apple TV 4K, but thought I’d try these out instead of the amazon quality hdmi cables and sure enough, full resolution, and an incredible difference! Hard to believe, and it sucks spending this much on a cable, but it’s worth it!

We had HDMI cords from the old TVs but had read that the newer ones would give us a better picture as they were able to handle the newer 4K TV's. The cords seem heavy duty as well as the plugs. We have great pictures on both TV's and are happy with our purchase.
