These are higher caliber HDMI cables and were necessary to maximize the best picture quality of the TV. It’s like this, a high quality TV needs high quality gear like this, just as a higher caliber vehicle would use higher grades of fuel. It makes sense and the end result is worth it.

These were not the most expensive ones Best Buy has to offer but not cheap either. They were a little more expensive than the top grade at Home Depot but the difference in picture quality is amazing. I will buy these from now on.

This does the trick so that I can set up my equipment. I read in the reviews that sometimes it doesn't switch automatically. It worked for me for awhile. Now it doesn't. I can't switch from Blueray to Roku without manually switching it. It happened without anyone messing with it. I still like it because it keeps me from climbing ladders and using flashlights to get to the back of the flatscreen.
